1. Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how MAFHH INTERNATIONAL LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), operator of aufinancecalculators.com, collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where an exemption might otherwise apply to us, we choose to follow the APPs as a matter of good practice.
MAFHH INTERNATIONAL LTD is a company registered in England and Wales. Because we are established in the UK, we also handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (UK). If you are in the UK or EU, you have additional rights, including erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
“Personal information” has the meaning in the Privacy Act: information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.
2. Calculator inputs are not collected
Our calculators run in your browser using JavaScript. Figures you enter, such as income, property price, loan amount, super balance or HECS-HELP debt, are processed on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you download a PDF report, it is generated on your device. When you use a “Share on WhatsApp” button, the text is passed to WhatsApp only when you choose to share it, and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then applies.
Never enter a Tax File Number (TFN), bank account, card or Medicare number into any calculator. None of our tools ask for them.
3. What personal information we collect
| Type | Examples | When |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Name and email address, and anything you include in your message | Only when you email us |
| Technical data | IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, date and time | Automatically in server and security logs |
| Analytics data | Pseudonymous identifiers, approximate location (city level), usage events | When you visit, through Google Analytics (see Cookie Policy) |

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information, racial or ethnic origin or political opinions). Please do not send it to us.
